Reviews and Ratings
The hotel felt like a little home away from home with a lovely leafy outlook up to Prince's Park, but the stonewall covering the window from outside gave a prison-like vibe. The service was the best thing about the hotel - the staff were just beautiful and very welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the CBD, Salamanca Markets, Battery Point, and more. On the downside, the room's stonewall view felt confining, but the friendly and helpful service made up for it.
The hotel offers lovely big bathrooms and comfortable couches in spacious rooms, but the proximity to the exit door can be noisy. The service is warm and accommodating, with special attention to guest needs. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to all the wonderful attractions in Hobart, although views are not expected. The dining experience is pleasant and the facilities are well-maintained.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern, nicely decorated, and very spacious with a full kitchen and amenities including a washer-dryer combination. The service was exceptional and very helpful, even reminding us of the checkout time. The location was ideal, within walking distance to all the attractions. The dining experience was fantastic, perfect for those who prefer not to cook. Overall, a great value for the money.
The hotel offers a mix of pleasant and disappointing experiences. The rooms with a lounge area and kitchenette are a plus, but those without a view can be dark. The service is friendly and helpful, but the absence of staff during certain hours is a drawback. The location is excellent for exploring the harbor area and Salamanca Square. The dining experience is fantastic, but limited toasts might not suit everyone.
